Inspirational Women-Owned Businesses

As we come to the final days of Women’s History Month, I thought it important to highlight a few women in my life that I know, love and am inspired by that run some badass companies! 👯‍♀️

Ava Lemons with @lemonloungeskincarestudio is a genius skin wizard and all around awesome person. After cutting her chops for 18 years working for the big names, she decided to branch out on her own and open her very own Skincare Studio based out of the Arts District in DTLA.

Karen Gorham owns and runs @specksalon located in South Pasadena and is my personal hair goddess and a badass lady. She inspires me every day while she single handedly saves kittens and forges forward in this crazy world.

Ms Kelly Reemtsen @kellyreemtsen is one of my favorite people and just so happens to be a contemporary artist exploring the roles of women in society and turning it all on its head! She is currently in London exhibiting at the London Original Print Fair and living her best life. So proud to call her a dear friend!

Amy Knoll Fraser is the tour de force behind @redbirdla and @vibianaevents alongside her partner Chef Neal Fraser. She has not only been a friend to me but also a mentor in life, a boss and a cheerleader. She continues to slay the restaurant world, as well as be an inspiration as a partner, mother and friend.

Last but not least, I would like to highlight our dynamic team of women that make up The Dix Group @marydixgroup. @ashley.m.dix and @nina2smadja are fierce mothers, fantastic partners and work hard for our little family each and every day and I couldn’t do it without them!
